OPENING TUESDAY, DECEMBER 1

Located on the eighth floor of Erie’s newest hotel, The Hampton Inn & Suites on Erie’s beautiful Bayfront, Oliver’s Rooftop, indulges guests with inventive and extraordinary chef-inspired cuisine served alongside stunning views and captivating sunsets.

Oliver’s Rooftop offers incredible vantage points of Presque Isle Bay provided by massive floor-to-ceiling glass panels. A retractable glass wall allows for open-air dining on the rooftop balcony in favorable weather. 

Oliver’s Rooftop is a one-of-a-kind culinary destination that pays homage to Erie’s rich maritime history. Oliver’s Rooftop is named in honor of Oliver Hazzard Perry, an American naval commander, who is most known for his heroic role in the 1813 Battle of Lake Erie. Visitors to Oliver’s Rooftop will have the chance to view Perry’s flagship, the US Brig Niagara, in her home port adjacent to the restaurant.

The menu at Oliver’s features spectacular seafood dishes like a Lacquered Salmon with a caramelized glaze, savory cuts of beef, pork, and chicken. Oliver’s also offers vegan & vegetarian cuisine, as well as incredible soups and salads. Our culinary team spent months carefully developing and tasting over 100 delicious dishes before presenting their favorite 10 entrees for your enjoyment. You’ll love what they’ve created.

Meet The Chef

Chef Rick

Chef Rick has been developing award-winning culinary destinations for decades. As if by fate, his professional career began in 1990 at another restaurant named Oliver’s located in Buffalo, NY. In the years since, Chef Rick launched a number of beloved restaurants. Chef Rick helped to launch the Blue Heron on Geist Reservoir in Indianapolis, followed by his own restaurant across the street named Eddy’s, which is still open today. After relocating back to his hometown of Buffalo, NY, Chef Rick opened David’s Grill and then eventually opened Rick’s On Main in East Aurora, NY. Throughout his career, Chef Rick has been supported by his wife Cathy, who helps to make many of these restaurants possible. Chef Rick is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.
